In my ski-doo manuals it say`s to take 2 readings to determine the secondary spring pressure.First reading like you said and second when letting pressure off clutch with scale ,take a reading when clutch starts to move.Add these two readings up and devide by 2 to get your tension.Jst my 2cents.
